Hip-Hop Fusion Style Belly Dance:
This class is currently on hiatus. Please email us if you are interested in seeing it start up again!
Hip-Hop Fusion 1 will focus on learning how to move our bodies like a fusion bellydancer! Many moves cross between both hip-hop and bellydance, so it is almost 2 for 1! There is slow, slinky, and sexy, and furiously fast and fun! Most music is set to hip-hop, some traditional bellydance music is played as well. Warm-ups are more intense than typical bellydance, so get ready for sore obliques and quads! No dance experience Necessary.
Hip-Hop Fusion 2 gets to work on lots of choreography in this class! This class is structured more like a hip-hop class, lots of practice doing different pieces of choreos. All that practice will lead to a great choreography that shows off your new skills at the end of the year! There will be performances with that final piece if you choose to perform. This is the Style M troupe and admission to class is per teacher approval only. Get ready to sweat and be sore to the sounds of hip-hop, fusion music and drums!!
Prerequisite: completion of at least two sessions of Tribal Fusion 1 or instructor approval.
